Update

Well, we are still trying to get internet at home, so my posts have been limited...We spent the weekend in Texarkana. We had a small family reunion to go to in Shreveport. Everyone had a good time. On Sunday, Madelyn and Jennifer went to church, and Byron and I took Amelia to the woods (Since she can't be around that many people still). I have posted a photo of her on here.

Amelia is doing well, her GVH is still acting up a bit. We are still just applying cream and playing the waiting game. She is doing great with her pottying, she has had success the last few days. We are letting her wear underwear over her diaper right now. She loves it!

New house almost done!

We spent some time today at the new house, with less than one week remaining there is much to be done. There is no way we will have everything ready in time, but the important items will be complete. Jennifer spent the weekend trying to line up some last minute decisions.

It will be so great to finally live in a neighborhood where people talk to each other, and we feel fortunate that we know some folks there already. I am already planning an "Amelia coming out party-crawfish boil" for March!

It is hard to believe that Saturday will mark one year to the date that Jennifer took Amelia up to Children's Hospital with a swollen eye. So much has happened since then, we are truly fortunate and blessed.

Winding down the apartment stay...

Just over one week remains at our apartment, thank goodness! We are really tired of this place. It's just temporary however. Gary our contractor is wrapping up our new house, and we should be in by the 14th. They are pouring the driveway in the morning. I will try to get some pics of it tomorrow.

Also, I will post this blog address on the Caringbridge site, so folks can better keep up with what is going on with our family...

Iced In??

I am trying to get the hang of this new site, maybe I can have some new pictures up by this weekend. We are hoping to be able to go to work in the morning, not looking good right now. Amelia is doing great, Madelyn played hookie today and stayed with Sarah and Casey. Not much going on, will be back soon! -brian
